Typically the only effect that I use with CC is bloom and blur, but I only use blur via the api, to switch it on and off when I need it. I have created some cool things with both. Reshade is better for providing the user with flexibility and enhancing CC. I was using sweetFX which I will still use when I don't want the user to be able to edit the graphics. I will try it as soon as I can, is it easy to integrate or should I prepare myself for hours of code-tweaking? :)ĭid you ever find something similar that works with WebGL? All I ever found was ether for D3D or OpenGL games :( to use if you ship your game with ReShade copyright notice, conditions and disclaimer. "As of January 1st 2017, ReShade is open sourced under the terms and conditions of the BSD 3-clause license." I will download & try ReShade, the website specifies D3D 9, 10, 11 and also OpenGL so it seems way better than QeffectsGL.Īs for usage rights & obligations, they wrote:

I really liked QeffectsGL, it was very simple to use but it's only for OpenGL builds. Just download and run the installer and all the post processing effects will be packaged with your game However, there may be some issue when you sell the game, you might need to pay royalties or something.thoughts? The graphics are dramatically improved and far more flexible. I am truly impressed and now I can do everything that I wanted to do with the engine. This does everything that I want and the results are spectacular.įar better then sweetFX or isildur injectors. Kind of makes me pissed off that I purchased coppercube.

Not only does it give you around 30 default shader options, including bloom but also things such as depth of field and 100's of templates, it is also configurable in game simply by pressing the home button to bring up the dozens of flexible settings.
